Sims 5 when?

Game started returning to town screen every time I tried loading specific lots or saves, so I spent some time trying each lot out to see what lots could be causing this.
Initially I thought it was due to the food carts as all other neighbourhoods seem to work fine, but then I tried going to the karaoke and it worked just fine too. Turns out it's specifically against apartment lots, even though it also works just fine the first time I try loading the apartment (when I move in).
Any ideas of what could be causing this? I have all EPs and my only mods are the MC commander, WW and the lag fix from MTS, all up to date.
