what if instead of flip monster archetypes, like Crawlers and subterrors, we instead got face-down effect archetypes whose effects can be activated even when face down, so you can voluntarily choose to activate it when you meet the activation conditions?

Is it really that hard to do something like that, or does Konami choose not to do it because they are aware that if they do so, flip effect monsters will then become even more irrelevant and useless as they currently are?
