It seems like Kanji is universally loved. What do you guys like about him?

I like that he's a strong, tough guy, but he learns that you don't need to be tough all the time. That you can like whatever you want and still be a man.

He grows from being a delinquent who gets into fights to being someone who is accepted who still occasionally gets into a fight.

Honestly, I wish we could date Shadow versions in P4. I enjoyed the Shadows in that game, and I wish that after they accepted their shadows, the exhibited some of their Shadow's traits.

Death, or the old ladies. Alot of them hit home though, and Shu's is still good because it's one of the only times the protag gets his party involved in his life outside of them and it was a really good moment.

That'd be great. It'd be like the Veeky Forums house, but funnier cause all the Shadows in P4 were extreme. Honestly, it'd probably devolve into an orgy at some point. Shadow Yukiko and Shadow Rise are pretty thirsty.

I finished her social link, but I hardly remember anything going on outside the Shiho stuff.

I know its contrarian tastes now, but I still highly enjoy Persona 4. I feel like 10 years from now, I'll still have more fond memories of it over Persona 5.

I got more of an immersive feeling out of the game, but maybe its cause at one point, I myself had moved to a small town and gone to a new school. I know the feeling when the only thing to do after school was to go to the department store.

I kinda get that feel but I went the opposite route so I didn't always get the small town vibe which makes me kinda miss my home town from time to time.
I will say I would've ended up doing what said if I stayed but with my mentality now I would enjoy it.
It makes me enjoy P4 a lot.

So what do you guys think about the added slice of life events in Persona 4 Golden?
Like the road trip, the concert, and the ski trip?
I enjoyed them and I felt like it added to the feeling of comradery and closeness of the Investigation Team over SEES and the Phantom Thieves.

Did Hanako and Kashiwagi do anything wrong?

I actually genuinely enjoy Kashiwagi as a character. She would have made an interesting social link. Maybe not as a love interest, but her dealing with her self esteem and why she became a teacher would have been fascinating to find out. Cause she does seem to know her subject well and she does seem to like teaching.

I'd like it if there were such things as 'sub social links' where they're characters who you interact with in the game and they acknowledge you and even consider you friends, and you can learn about them, but its purely optional. I know there is kind of a thing like that, but I want it expanded upon. I'd like to get to know your teachers better, your classmates better, ect. It'd be cool if all your classmates were actual people with their own actual lives and they appeared around town and did their own thing independent of you and if you happened to see em around town, you could talk to em for a few minutes, kinda like in Shenmue.

Sorta, but a little more minor than that. It'd give you more of a sense of being a student and a connection to the world if you could go around and recognize 'Oh hey, that person is in my class' when you're going to buy armor or are on the way to do a social link. You can make friends without having to change their lives like you would in a social link.

What do you guys like about the Investigation Team in Persona 4?

It's the discorders pushing that, not gorofags.

Just how real it feels, it's a group of friends that take a dark situation and become one because of it. almost like a comfort thing in the downtime or during a tense moment.

I felt their friendship and bond were the strongest, particularly during the quiet times, but even during the tense times. Like when they thought Nanako died, you could feel their pain right along side them. They all leave an impression on you and honestly, I'm happy whenever I get to see them, even in flanderizing spin offs.

I'm curious to know what Chie's feet smell like.

Another reason Persona 4 endeared to me was the Dojima family. They welcomed you into their home, and over the course of time, you guys really began to feel like a family. When they were hospitalized near the end of the game, it legitimately felt lonely to have nobody welcome you home except Teddie in Golden.

I love poppa Dojima, such a sweetheart even if he can be a hardass sometimes just because of his line of work.

I like how he never truly suspected you of wrongdoing and how he always believed in you. He was truly more than your mother's younger brother. His social link was one of my favorites in that game and he did his best to make you feel at home. Same with Adachi. He really did like his partner, despite giving him a hard time.

Is Adachi the best human villain in all of Persona?

To be fair if you did actually tell him about the TV world and the other side I feel like he'd actually help you out instead of preventing you from doing it.
He wanted the case closed as soon as it started since it effected his town and later on his family, I feel like he'd do whatever it took and would add an interesting member to the investigation team.
I liked him due to the fact he had no real motive and did it for the fuck of all.

Yeah, he'd probably believe you if you just stuck your head in the TV in the Dojima living room.

When that kind of shit happens you just gotta believe that stuff.

I don't get why the investigation team was so inactive about it, they should of just told Dojima what they knew after rescuing Yukiko, than they could have had police protection of anyone who shows up on the tv. Obviously this wouldn't actually help with finding the true killer but it would have been the more logical thing to do, instead they just let people get kidnapped every single time.

What would Shadow Dojima have been like? I guess it mostly have dealt with a lot of the things his social link did like being a good father and dealing with the death of Chisato.

Ultimate lawfag. Nanako is an angel. He goes from being a police officer to imposing absolute law on all of Inaba. He never has to worry about any unforeseen event, and Nanako is basically a robot that tells him he's doing a good job. At the center of it all is a giant statue of his wife.

I like this idea. He'd essentially make Inaba a police state. Given his strong personality, maybe thats why they didn't bring him into the TV. Could the IT even take down Shadow Dojima, Fuhrer of Inaba?

Maybe not, the IT have already proven that they aren't really the strongest team.

It fits the tone though, they aren't supposed to be an execution squad like SEES, they are just a group of friends who occasionally jump inside the tv to rescue people.
