If they manage to attain some level of card balance so that there's actual build diversity, and let each team ban 1-2 heroes at the start I think this game would be fantastic.

I feel like I've gotten so good at Aurora that I've started just playing sloppy. Getting deaths just because whatever (I'm talking like 1-2 a game not a lot) and building cards like I added some random chaos cards to my deck. I don't even build cyborg anymore unless the other team is a bunch of memeborgs. Its just too easy. No one knows how to fight tank Aurora, you're literally unkillable if you actually play smart, which like I said I don't even anymore. Last game I wasn't paying attention and didn't get growth totem until like 12 minutes in and I built thundercleaver even though I never build thundercleaver.

Oh and in that game I still went 11/1/6
Honestly I thought scapegoating Cam was dumb for a while but lately I've been thinking he really is a big part of the problem. You can tell different parts of the team aren't even communicating and they need stronger leadership, like how they changed a bunch of shit in 43 that wasn't in the patch notes. I think thats because no one is making sure everyone is communicating. All the unforeseen performance issues and shit that they should of been able to forsee at least a few of. Like no chat for playstation anymore? What is that? How could they not have tested and noticed stuff like that? I've recently dropped it in favor of quick exit. I like that quick exit is nice all the time instead of just in the early game, but I don't see how I could survive the offlane without healing towers.

So, I'm new-ish to the game, my account is lvl14 right now
And I still have no idea what the Orb buff actually does, nor do I seem to be able to find any recent source on it online

the orb buff is a damage buff, defense buff, minion buff. It used to activate prime card (3 extremely powerful card you could choose according to your style) but i don't know if affinitie have something to do with the buff.

It's something I noticed while playing Kwang before v42, too: you know in the back of your mind that what you're doing in the moment is stupid as fuck and definitely going to get you killed, but you're so high on your own success up to that point in the match that you don't really care.

Prime cards aren't a thing anymore, man.
Which is something I hadn't thought too much about, but our newfriend asks a good question: what exactly does Prime do now? 10% damage buff? 15%?

I did a quick solo match with beginner bots
It's not very scientific, but at lvl15 I was damaging raptors for 83 per hit, after Orb it went up to 100
So that should be about 20% damage increase
Also, my health regen outside combat went from 18.6 to 52. This one varied between teammates (judging from the replay), but for each of them it seemed to have at least doubled, with in-combat regen staying the same.
Unfortunately the game ended about a minute later and I completely forgot to take a look at my stats before or after orb

probably. but epic also knows that they could market the game at release and get a bunch of new shitters to play their new "game". epic doesn't care if the majority of the current playerbase leave. we're their beta testers and cash cows for some.

I play a good amount of paragon (ps4) and I have almost no problems with this games stability or performance. I recently subscribed to the subreddit and it seems like everyone is just constantly trashing on the meta...pretty dumb...this game is tons of fun. I've played all the Mobas; Dots, HoN, LoL, Dota2, Smite. Paragon stands shoulders above them all in my opinion. Epic is constantly updating the game, the graphics are amazing. Who cares if certain tank builds are OP, something is always gonna be OP in these games, it's not like it's impossible to counter. Maybe don't feed the kwang or let khai gank you constantly... Dunno just love this game and all the meta shitposting got be riled up

Do other MOBAS show your level with a character? Everytime somebody on either team is above level 8 with a character somebody on the opposing team leaves the draft. Takes so long to even get into a game

Best thing is I very rarely see a high mastery level player who would actually play well enough to justify this level: there are just as many high level shitters as there are low level ones

This. I have three heroes mastered, with a bunch more at level seven or above, and I'd say I have legitimately mastered only one or two of them in the true sense of the word.

Just remove the "gets cheaper the more points you have" shit, so it actually becomes an expensive card which can't be bought that early(and having a lot of time to stack) without severely harming yourself by stashing gold you could spend

I don't even get how people can be so high of a mastery level. I am still quite new but my highest mastery level is 4 on my wife and I've got well over 100 games on her. I can't even imagine how some of these people get rank 18 on murdock.

And like said, the people with super high mastery levels barely seem to be very good. I always keep an eye on people with exceptionally high mastery levels and more often than not they are surprisingly not all that good.

I mean how can they not notice, their community managers or PR whatever definitely watch streamers and definitely go on the reddit, which is full of posts about how the meta is garbage right now. So even our reddit friends are wise to their failures. (inb4 reddit). They probably are just not responding because they know they'll get annihilated by people. Is there even going to be a CAmmunity corner today?
