Uh what are you talking about? Ys VIII did super well. The only people who complained were the people wanting the PC release and the fans who played all the other games. But aside from that it sold really well.
We already know what NISA offered to snatch Ys VIII so if they offer the same thing which they easily can, then it's pretty much guaranteed they'd get it. XSeed sadly just doesn't have the resources to offer what NISA can.

I'm assuming this is a joke. The PC version was so dead they had to default on their promise to concurrently perform a PC release, and the console versions are pretty broken too, what with translation errors (as in.. the wrong language appearing) at points, alongside a subpar translation.

XSEED take their time, and don't deliver dual audio, but at least their ports generally work and have a nice, consistent translation.
