How to git gud with Sombra?
Lastpick her after saying you will fill. She gets +30 on a win and -10 on a loss. You could be complete dogshit with her and remain at your current level because she's such a do-nothing hero that if you miraculously win with her (likely through your teammates being strong enough to win 5v6 through sheer chance) your SR skyrockets.

but learn good health kits to port back to, and hack kits as frequently as possible. its hard to tell how impactful they're being, but its very fruesterating to play against a sombra who is on top of health kit hacking

Go here, ask a question, get an answer

Yes, but for different reasons. Mercy was able to go up because rez was busted in how the algorithm calculated performance. Sombra is able to climb because hero is so shit people don't even one-trick her ironically, so the metric for her is set very low.
