Looks like the punch is only good for finishing off enemies.
It cancels your basic fire like all his other abilities but nothing else, and nothing cancels the end lag on the punch.
Can only hit one target at a time and will hit whoever is closest to where you're aiming, even if they're further away.

The thing is that thing will be useless against half of the cast. You will still dash flick to kill people. I can only see it being useful against Skye Zhin and a few tanks. Maybe supports but really unless you don't have any bullets i wouldn't take the risk. If you misjudge the range you are stuck in minus frames.

PPL is starting they are avoiding making big changes. Even this torvald change is surprising. There are clearly things that needs to be nerfed. Like Maeve's range and Sha's ult charge rate yet they still don't adress these problems.

WOW. I just released that one Androxus punch is basically defiance painted over. Realistically you need to be at the same range for them to be effective. Both have no cooldown, but defiance used bullets (i think this is a massive buff). The only thing we need to see is if the cards for the punch are better because it feels like it's a more consistent defiance.

I hope this is not intended, since it feels broken.

The punch is pretty strong though. I'd like to see it have more depth to it to make it actually require skill. Like giving it a sweat spot distance where it does full damage and falloff outside of it. Melee is going to suck in any game with lag, but it'd be more interesting to see it take more skill than just humping you while right clicking.

No. Everything is better than defiance. The problem with Andro is that he's good even though he has a useless skill. That means that if he gets a good skill he needs to be nerfed a bit to keep him in check. Otherwise he'll just always have a useless skill.

If he becomes a menace i hope they don't nerf his punch but something else.
