The reason that the Titan x Titan numbers look low is because you have HP set to 100%. You'll get a higher Normal modifier the lower your HP is so Titan will become more valuable.

So you do end up with a combination of axes + stratos that equals 6 in some way. Perfect. It seemed like the calc completely ignored Baidu and the cap up, which was odd. I had Ayer and Sarasa at 1% for the purposes of testing because they're the ones that self activate enmity and felt it was a more fair comparison, but I'll try dropping the players health too. Last slot is FSocie or Nemone for racing, so it's irrelevant, right?

Calculator is fucking weird. Using a baseline of 4 Axes 2 Stratos, it drops the Baidu Claw to add a Ygg Bow and it drops the 2nd Unk to add another Ygg Sword.
Final result is 4 Axes, 2 Strats, 2 Ygg Swords, Ygg Bow, and a True Harp. The Titan x Titan setup keeps the Baidu over a 2nd Ygg Sword but still ends up with the 40k~ damage gap we were seeing. An elemental buff of 60%+ catches the Titan build up, but any normal buffs added in heavily favour the Alex setup. Swapping out more Axes for Stratos still maintains this trend.

Of course, when it comes to on-ele the Titan x Titan build is favoured because of what I imagine is crit.

1% HP on both Ayer and Sarasa, yeah. Dropping the players HP to 1% gives an even bigger deficit for Titan x Titan. The Alex setup gets a projected damage of 241K without buffs while the Titan one gets a projected 189K under the 4 axe 2 stratos baseline.

Under 2 Axe 4 Stratos the projected damage for Titan x Titan is 200056, while Alex has 252036. It now only requires a 55% elemental buff for Titan to match the projected damage of Alex, but normal buffs tip the scales quickly in favour of the Alex setup again.

Does this happen because of diminishing returns on multiplying normal modifiers too far on the Titan x Titan side?
