First for Citra is a scam

So is RetroArch.

>reee stop donating to actual emudevs

Exactly

Daily reminder to be nice to Endrift. If you want to shit on someone, shit on Brad, who has still not paid for his crimes.

Whyy is neobrain attacking Citra. Did they kick him out of the team? Well, he has barely done anything anyway.

>shit on Brad, who has still not paid for his crimes.

Who is Brad and what crimes did he commit?

>who
Brad Miller aka mudlord aka cucklord aka fatlord

Encouraging SP's self-destructive behavior on a regular basis, being friends with Squall, etc.

Behold the man who split his dick-mamedev MooglyGuy.

...

He looks somewhat "normal". Just goes to show you can never tell what kind of a sick fuck someone is just by looking at them.

Could someone add MooglyGuy's head to the picture of Emugen? It'll be finally complete then.

Maybe, somewhere on top of the picture.

>who split his dick-mamedev MooglyGuy.

At the behest of his gay bdsm master.
Apparently his split-dicks pics are floating somewhere online. Someone posted them on somethingawful forums but they're long gone.

No good stories from school, sorry. Everyone avoided him, monopolized class time with asinine questions, drew anthro fox heads on the chalkboards. i assume that's normal furry poo poo. He was my cohort's "that guy" so I wasn't exactly chummy.

Holy kek. He is into foxes like the_randomizer.

LOL u joking right?

>LOL u joking right?
What's so crazy about him?

More please.

Looks like your typical grungy mid-30s cashier to me.

>core emulation in abysmal

>how is it bad? I'd like a better answer than "it uses hacks".

For one timings are terrible, many instructions, opcodes, registers, circuits and interfaces are unemulated.

he looks creepy man. Not someone i would trust around kids.

>many instructions, opcodes
those literally mean the same thing. shows how much you know

Read this entire thread:

forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3109533&pagenumber=2

Timings don't have to be accurate for sixth generation consoles, it'll only slow things down.

Disgusting opinion right there.

>he looks creepy man. Not someone i would trust around kids.

MooglyGuy is also a furry.

By the way, would you trust this guy with kids?

Dolphin has vastly more accurate timings. Of course not 100% either but much more so.

Unironically yes. He has a gentle soul.

>those literally mean the same thing
Not quite. Instructions have corresponding opcodes.

Dolphin is also slow as shit

What about this one?

I would say that an instruction is an opcode and its operands. Still doesn't make a lot of sense to list both of them for timings but that's a nitpick.

>Dolphin is also slow as shit
Only for poorfags who can't afford modern hardware. For others, it may very well be faster than PCSX2 since it is better optimized.

no way!

thanks for the laugh man. i needed that

dear god no

No, cucklord will burn in hell and pay for his crimes.

>Dolphin

Just LOL at your delusion

>Dolphin is also slow as shit
I can confirm

>For others, it may very well be faster than PCSX2 since it is better optimized.
Not even close

>It's PS3 emulator
github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/releases

Someone please shop a MAGA cap on this

>Just LOL at your delusion
PCSX2 having better or equal timings is a delusion.
>I can confirm
Then your hardware is shit. For me it works very fast(more than 100fps).

When do you think a new version of hps2x64 is coming out?

>Mudlord a typical Trump supporter.
Well, mudlord likely impersonated byuu on Stormfront.

the_randomizer is working as dishwasher, currently.

>the_randomizer I didn't want to say anything, but I can't keep it locked up, just lost my job, and I am on the verge of tears...

>the_randomizer I have a potential job lined up for dishwasher, 25 hours/week, just need to hear back in the next day or two.

Why is byuu even porting higan to libreto? The bSNES cores are perfectly fine.

>When do you think a new version of hps2x64 is coming out?

Hpsx2 is fucking vaporware.

Themaister is doing it, not byuu.

Do you think he fucks that fox?

Could you paste in MooglyGuys head on the OP Emugen picture?

That's the problem. The cores ARE fine, so far more people are using them rather than dealing with Higan's bullshit, and Byuu sees that as the last 4 years of his work on Higan being wasted. Also is right. Byuu is changing some things here or there to make it easier, but Hans is doing all of the heavy lifting.

But why should people switch to higan-libretro? I think it's a waste in either case.

Well, given his fox fetish, probably.
rule34.paheal.net/post/list/the_randomizer/1

CEMU is halving the speed of pirated versions of Yoshi Wolly World and Donkey Kong on newer versions?

Turn off your fps limiter you dumdum

For the end-user, it doesn't really matter, as the existing cores are fine and there's no need to switch. But for Byuu, he now gets to point to an "official" fork (I say "official", because he won't be maintaining it himself) for people to use instead of the "4+ year out of date" forks that he's perpetually assblasted about people using.

It's still not fully accurate.
Mosaic emulation was buggy.
gitlab.com/Themaister/higan/commits/libretro-v104

What software do you use to cut images and parts of text like that?

It will be unusable for any real, non-abstract purpose. MAME is where video games go to die.

So was is happening with Simias. Did he come back or not?
There was some activity four days ago.

Your font rendering is an atrocity. Don't ever post screenshots like that again.

Is Dolphin good for GC emulator? I want replay RE2 and 3 this month. The best looking versions of these games are on Dreamcast and Gamecube.

I know NullDC should run them flawlessly but if I can play the GC versions that would be ace.

>Is Dolphin good for GC emulator?
No

Of course you'd think your own shitty meme is hilarious, problem is that no one else does.

hate to break it to you kid, but more than one person finds it funny. You remind me of Jyuu

>PCSX2 SOFTWARE ONLY COREWHENHEN

Software core would be a waste of time.
I doubt they can fix anything but perhaps libretro guys could add Vulkan renderer like they did for Mednafen and Mupen. That could help standalone version too.

>but more than one person finds it funny

One person and his buttbuddy from his IRC circlejerk

what do I win?

bruh, they can't even handle PS1 or N64 emulation. Do you really believe they could make a proper PS2 vulkan backend?

>Software core would be a waste of time.
That's literally their best thing. I play games and they just work.

BASED LOGAN. github.com/mupen64plus/mupen64plus-core/pull/415

hi ambient malice. it looks like a hack, BTW.

>it looks like a hack, BTW.
How do you propose N64 emudevs simulate random system interrupt timings, then?

Cycle accuracy, of course. Everyone will leap for joy when you create an N64 emulator that runs at 3fps on Coffee Lake processors with no meaningful accuracy improvements over fuzzing the timing with a hack.

>with no meaningful accuracy improvements over fuzzing the timing with a hack.
you joking right? current emulators have bad timing.

>How do you propose N64 emudevs simulate random system interrupt timings, then?
By writing test ROMs and approximating based on the results. Of course no one from the m64p camp is competent enough to do that, so they resort to poorly thought out hacks as usual. Just like the hack they used for "fixing" the flickering issue in Rogue Squadron.

Reminder that Byuu is hoarding undumped games.

you should start reposting an image of his twitter post(s) where he admits to this.

Honestly I wish "byuu is hoarding undumped games" could be added to the OP info. Would save me the effort.

How exactly would that work? We have an array of N64 test roms. There is no "correct" value for random system speed variances that can be affected by anything from the hardware revision to moisture in the air.

he have anything thats worth dumping?
wheel of fortune doesn't sound that interesting to me.

He also accepted large amounts of donations to redump every SNES game. Only afterwards did he admit he wouldn't be releasing any of those dumps.

>absolutely no slowdown

youtube.com/watch?v=z9qBkrJXh0k

How? I remember jus going to first person would slow the game down.

I am a brainlet. Is there a step by step guide to setting up RPS3 and downloading games for it?
I want to play Persona 5.

>the fucking viewcone on the radar jumping all over the place

>There is no "correct" value for random system speed variances that can be affected by anything from the hardware revision to moisture in the air.
That is why i used the word "approximate". Judging by test results on console is far better than pulling numbers out of a hat...

>We have an array of N64 test roms.
We do NOT have enough test roms. You will have to write your own, in order to actually get things done.

Perhaps you don't care that much, because you know that whenever other devs make REAL advancements, m64p maintainers will just copy the code anyway. Happens every time.

Also, would a thinkpad T530 with a dual-core i7 and the nvidia graphics be able to emulate ps2?
I don't want any crazy upscaling, would be fine with 800x600. Main games I want to emulate are Ace Combat 5,0, God hand and maybe the Jak games if they work on pcsx2 now.
OS is fedora but I doubt it matters.
>thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:T530

It's called "RPCS3".
I'm having a Deja Vu right now.
