If you can, bring a gun with some kind of pierce or water shot. If not, prepare for pain.

He'll shoot at his own nuts to fry you and then sweep up while turning at a 90 degree angle

Since nobody's mentioned it, IIRC the jho hammer (and the GS) grow while charging, like the muscles they're made out of are flexing.

That one's really neat.

I like the little details some weapons have, like the different hammer effects and Shagaru's glaive unfolding into a crossbow for pheromone shots, and even the little old things from first gen like the gunhammer that is just a revolver on a stick with fire damage so it appears to explode on impact visually, and similarly the "gunlance" that was just a fire lance. I guess that kind of thing doesn't really fly now since there's more than one or two weapons of an element per class.

Anything with a lot of water melts him, not just guns. Be warned however that he farts a lot more than regular gravios, and you need guard up to block the farts or I think at least e+2 to dodge them (I've never dodged them with less, it might just have a weird hitbox timing though). If it's 4U, the dahren mohran CB and the sharq Lance are the best BM weapons for both gravioses and the lance can safely counter all the farts on black if you have guard up. Mountspamming with IG works well too though.

I wish I had never played 3U so I could still pretend cats were at least vaguely helpful. In fact most of the time they are harmful and comparing them to the shakas that would actually do things that were seriously helpful like placing real bombs next to your bombs when sleepbombing and do little qol things like cooking your meat for you just drives the point home.

Don't give up user, you only learn to feel out the timing by trying again and again. I STILL can't WF a charging diablos, I feel like you have to predict the charge like a full second before it telegraphs it no matter how far away it starts.

Alright, what's the absolute cheesiest way to break Rajang's horns? In HR if it matters, I need em for my Lance but breaking them WITH a Lance obviously hasn't been working out.

Get a set with Destroyer and maybe Crit Draw and you should be all set.

I've got a crit draw set already, I can probably tweak it for Destroyer
I don't have any problems killing Rajang with Lance actually, but going for the face is tough when his horn break is like 2/3rds of his HP
