Half the turn duration of the def reduction, more damage (whoop dee doo) and now gives full PSY board, which is stupid redundant with Tesoro, Shirahoshi, and the real kicker, SW Shanks' own captain ability.

His updated CA is notably better, but mostly because of the HP boost and the HP scaling being shifted off the pathetic 2.75x attack boost onto matching orbs.

Well there's literally no downside to trying, you don't lose the raid loot if you lose the invasion.
You can't gem on the invasion either.

You do need a fixed damage dealer or delayer for stage 4.

Feel free to try, there is no downside. You don't risk your loot from the level. Though to be honest you would have very little/no chance to clear it if you struggled with 30 stamina Boa. I would also suggest not spending gems on reviving.

You have pretty good driven units, just underleveled and i'm sure not max cd. Pica and Doffy would definitely help, just focus on leveling units up and maxing their cooldowns for now. Are trebol books still out? He's an incredible sub.
Basic rr Kid can get rid of stage 2 and probably stage 4 of ywb, that use to be the old strat before all the power creep.

It depends on what teams you can throw them on. They're both really fucking good units, but it totally depends on what you need or what you can throw them on to get the full value out of them.

I'm doing it mainly for the ambushes. I need skulls anyway, plus I may as well max YWB, so I'm just doing it here as opposed to just using tomes. At least the ambush rate seems high as fuck on 60 stam raids. I'm getting ambushed like every other run, or even like 3 ambushes in a row or something

Is it alright to farm a colo boss on jp without x2? With how many sockets it takes plus getting skill books it seems like you'll get done with both around the same time, right?

Absolutely.
The best way to farm would be to feed copies right away for sockets, and save the skill books for a x2. You can be done with a Colo on one rotation with minimal amount of luck.
