Honestly 1.5+2.5 is a great deal and 2.8 is mandatory before 3 releases in 2020.

I think I'll be alright skipping the gameplay parts of those games so long as the cut scenes give me the information that the game would have given me anyway. I'm primarily asking because I want to actually learn the story/lore of the series through the games themselves/cut-scenes instead of watching some fuckboi on youtube.

Her outfit is more about function. Her spats and top are like exercise clothes with less stuff hanging that would get in the way of mobility, while the rest is a lot more like flowy window dressing. Her sleeves are pretty impractical for someone who wields a blade though.
