Then we got both Zhang He and Xun Yu with the throwing knives, plus Zhou Yu and Zhu Ran with the staff. I think it just might be they didn't think Twin Axes are a good weapon for Lingqi.

Yeah, I really like all the ambition and potential of the RoTK series, but, they never QUITE get it right.
Also I tried doing nothing to see historical events. Would not recommend. Without my interference, Cao Cao got devoured quickly by Yuan Shao, and then I lost history as it is.

I presumed that the events would more or less railroad you to an extent, I wasn't in Wei and Cao Cao got up to the burning supplies thanks to Xu You event
It also sucks that the game provides you with an event log/checklist, but no way to actually get to see the events ever again.
