imo the best implant combination is safeguard + carapace If you don't care dying a couple times.

For a medic the best combination is carapace and combat surgeon, with nanoweave and resto kits.

Carapace + vampire is also a nice pubstomp implant combination.

Assimilate 5 and safeguard 5 is quite deadly, as well If you want to play a cancer HA

It's not about resistance, those don't count that much and I'm not sure if they even stack with nanoweave anyway.

You get the constant flow of nanoregen energy (granted you kill people, like you should),which let's you stay on full hp during entire engagement.
I can clear entire rooms like that alone. The key is to prolong fights as much as you can by using cover, since they are losing hp and you are gaining it.

Not always, only when you die. You shouldn't die, that's the key.
You are a medic, you stay alive while everyone around you dies so you can ress them and get the buff.

The T1B is legitimately overpowered.

Think of it like a T1 cycler - but better in nearly every way - the only catch is you need to click a lot. It's been ages since I used it, but I vaguely remember it was the top tier first shot recoil, and the bloom (I think) that made it so good. Once you get used to the firing mechanism, it's a breeze.

If you want a general impression, see image attached.

If you're good you'll do fine with either, but the T1B is really worth it. Same for all burst guns, really.
