Reminder to not install anything during a playthrough:

>Several Psiops lost important skills like Domination, Stasis and Inspire

I enjoyed using the Bulldozer voicepack for mine in a previous campaign

That was a fun playthrough but those mods are simply too OP, I guess now I understand that having 1 weakness in addition to an Adversary was most likely a design choice. I initially thought it was kind of bullshit that the Chosen get new strengths while weakness stays the same.

Or just check what your installing and use logic or ask in the comments if its okay to add to an existing campaign.
Because on the flipside I've never had issues from adding/removing mods because I'm careful about it.

That's the issue, I did check everything and stuff still broke. Not making a proper save beforehand was probably my biggest mistake, but by all accounts the stuff I added shouldn't have messed with anything relating to abilities.

For safety I'll do a full reinstall before I start a new campaign - if I lose Domination off my Psiops again I'm gonna lose it.

So I had an idea for a different kind of weapon balance mod based in the long war weapons, instead of making then sub tiers, have lasers and mags, and plasma and coil share a tier, with different enemies having different resistances and weaknesses to projectile and energy weapons respectivly, encouraging you to mix and match your squads. Maybe add advanced advent who use coil weapons themselves in late game.

Additionally rounds types would no longer applied to energy weapons, instead you'd need their equivalent cell types

Remember that "prearmor" thing that everyone had in LW2. Everyone had 3 squares of additional HP and if you got hit and still had full HP, you didn't have to go to the infirmary. Is there a mod for that?

There was in vanilla, called "just a scratch", don't know if there is a WoTC version.

I like this idea. I wish they had done this in vanilla and instead of getting squad upgrades you manufacture each gun individually like in EU/EW/LW. You could also have ammo types only compatible with ballistic weapons and as a weapon mod instead of a utility slot. Ammo type being an incentive to use ballistics against ADVENT units for the fire/poison etc and maybe plasma is useful for armour penetration/cover destruction while magnetic is more accurate/higher crit chance or something

I don't know how you couldn't get that immediately since the Chosen become easy to deal with as soon as you exit the early game.

I'm personally partial to the SHODAN and Moonbase Alpha ones myself.

anyone know of a mod that gives neck coverings? I dont like the look of power armor, BARE NECK, and then helmet

I know some helmets come with that as part of the model but Im looking for something I could use with a wide range of helmets

He's not wrong. I like the designs of the weapons but golly, they do not actually look good as models because of how they're ported.

Not from him, anyway, he made XSoldier specifically because there's so little male-oriented sexy mods, and he's a fashion designer who sees too many boobs a day anyway.

Rage helmet has a neck guard sort of thing as a lower face prop and one of the face paint mods has a "collar" face paint, don't know which one it belongs to though.

I can take squad upgrades as the inventory already has lots of micro managing, but an ammo slot for weapon mods would be great to have, especially with a system like this, it also makes more sense.

I don't know about LW2 but I'm pretty sure EW has that.

There's a face paint mod that adds a black "neck covering" option. It would cover the skin for any helmet.

Warden Gear comes with a little scarf-thing, I think Claus also made the mod that gives the RAGE armor a helmet, which comes with a neck protector (that isn't bound to the armor, so you can slot it on any armor you please). If you want a stretch up power-turtle-neck for your power armor, download the XCOM EU/EW ports for Tier 3 armor. T3 EU/EW power armor -all- came with neck coverings, as it was a sealed suit.

I think smth among the lines of Bladestorm+Reaper+Quickdraw+Fortress+Shadowstep. Possibly throw in some Lightning hands and Sustain if you're ironmanning.

You can get multiple action points with Reaper by aoe-killing, and THEN use them on non-turn-ending abilities like Pillar, Invert, Exchange, Quickdraw-pistolshot and then STILL run, slash, kill, repeat till you have only 1 action left and then use Ghost.

IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES!

Relocating a Chosen into a Pillar rapecamp? Hell yes!
Exchanging XCOM Turrets on a base defence? Why yeah!
Swapping all your members into good positions and STILL have 40 movement points left? You name it!
