I think +Atk/-HP is his best, but +Spd would work. I slapped on Draconic Aura and Darting Blow on mine but he's on the waiting list for Swift Sparrow if I ever get the fodder.

What're you running him on? +ATK and +SPD are both good, +RES is more niche but +RES DC Wood can be used as a very potent mage counter. Otherwise you're just stacking speed and attack to go off of Durandal, so LnD, Darting Blow, Death Blow, and Swift Sparrow are all fine A. For B Drag Back is universally good and flexible, highly recommended outside of cav teams since it lets him keep in formation with non-3 mov units. Swordbreaker otherwise helps him with common sword matchups, consider it if you're not doing +SPD Wood/don't have a speed bosting A/are not running him on Hone Cav steroids. C is wild card, as usual.

Repo's a good assist, and for specials, Memebow tree, Iceberg, and Draconic Aura are all nice. Choose based on your build/availability/needs.

Finally I've ran Eli/Hek before, Fortify Res is good if you want him supporting Hek to better counter Tinyhand and other blue mages.

Xander is pretty high up there.
