The problem with left to right is the image is larger than the screen, meaning you'd have to scroll left and right constantly instead of just scrolling down once, then right and up, then down a second time. Even with a 4way mousewheel its just inconvenient for reading

Goo has same range as Jet at 4.2 lines. Squiffer is 3.7 lines, not that far away, same range as RBP and Heavy.

Use missile splash damage with a charge shot.
Your tap shots have the same range as your charge shots.
