They do the same thing over and over again, but people just keep watching them.

You will be around SL200 by the end, DS2 is by far the biggest game in the series and it follows a different level curve
Going from 200->201 in 2 takes just about as many souls as going from 95-96 in DS1 and 3

Gael isn't really the final boss, the Soul of Cinder is. Gael is basically just a 4th alternate ending where you fuck off into a new painting but Fromsoft is such a hack shit with DS3 they couldn't even give as a cutscene for it.

I meant the final boss of the DLC. The DLC in souls games were always on another level to the main games. At least in 3, Soul of Cinder wasn't that much of a joke as previous final bosses.

in my head canon I saw the ringed city as a possible future were I had linked the fire. The continuing linking of the fire caused stress fractures in the world eventually leading to in imploding. After killing Gael I went back to my time, killed the Soul of Cinder, and set the age of dark to give the world a good hard reset. Eventually new life will spring from the ashes and I'll be the silent observant goddess of the next world.

What is power stancing

Weapons of a similar class (kata+katana, longsword+curved sword, curved sword +rapier etc) in both hands, 1.5 times the STR and DEX requirement of both weapons, hold down the two hand button, now you have a new movset on your left hand that depends on what you have equipped

But you can transpose Gael's soul at least which is basically the Dark Soul :^) for an uninfuseable quality greatsword (admittedly the best in its class) and a mediocre crossbow that is worse than regular shot crossbows and the Avelyn in every way.

No, the closest similar weapons for fists are Claws with their anime jump hyperarmor and Demon's Fists super spin.

To add, powerstancing does not give you the bonus damage you get for two handing.
You need a weapon with good scaling and way above the 40 softcap in dex and str to get more damge out of it. Powerstancing exists for moveset variety and to give physical only builds a boost to keep their damage relevant lategave VS just buffing your weapon
