VGL League Roster Poll

First for rare menads

...

She's not the kind to sit around while her "big bro" goes off to fight a war so yeah, she'll probably be one of the first characters you have in your party.

...now that I think about it, X's roster of party members is going to be even bigger than VI, Quest and IX combined at this rate. And with levels making a comeback in the gameplay it's going to be a pain to grind up everyone and unlock their events...

>DHA Menad
>rare

Kanami is not only a worthless ninja but also a shitty human being. She kidnaps innocent girls for a rich and influential psycho lesbian that has at least 1 murder of an innocent girl under her belt, she is good at killing little kids and needs Rance's help to murder a practically defenseless middle-aged man. Is there ANYTHING good about her?

Maris is really hot.

Also Rance bringing up Kanami's kidnapping all the time in 03 was great.
She can solo Dio though and gives good head.

A level cap of 60 is still way above average for a human considering generals of some of these armies cap out before 50

Granted most of them have some Level 2 skill but still

Just because we haven't seen her doesn't mean she's not there

Level caps are meaningless until they are reached. Alkaneze is still weaker than Leila.

...

Got quite a lot of new player suggestions from the last thread which is nice but still going to be accepting new suggestions for players and music until next Friday.
implyingrigged.info/wiki//hanny/

Are people happy with Rance, TOSH, Kay-chan and Gele as our four star players?

So far these are the suggestions.
Millie
STEM General
Buy Haruka
Sacrifice Helman
Anasel
(Something about Sengoku Rance mechanics)
Sill (use Russian model)
Something about gacha

Play me funky - Gou Goalhorn

4 stars seems good.
Among the new suggestion, I'm fond of STEM genral and Buy haruka

people mentioned DHR and I supplied answers/comments but it was end of thread

I one time was able to destroy a tank with Gou by using SpoilerAL
He's the one true superhero the world needs.

To give an example, of Rance IX's 125 CGs (not counting variations nor the mini CGs) 71 are Ero CGs, so over 50 aren't. Although it's true that ero CGs tend to have many variations while non ero ones tend to have none or only a few.

>by using spoilerAL
Doesn't count.
Why did we get so many cheating hannies this year anyway?
Neo-/v/?

Savescummers and guide-users have always been here.

The spoilerAL guys are new.

>X's roster of party members is going to be even bigger than VI, Quest and IX combined at this rate

Not counting guest characters and ones added with extra patches that would be 27+70+20=117

Yeah, at this rate I can see X having more than that playable.

How else would Gou be able to destroy a tank?

Shave it down to 1 hp.

Kyankyan Butcher

Is this something Bird would really do? Is he really that much of a scumbag or is it just Rance's lies?

What kind of a monster would harm such an adorable creature?

There's no way he could level up without being a wanton KyanKyan butcherer. Look at how shitty he was with Kisara.

I don't think levels are going to be that relevant to the gameplay. From what we've seen many of the characters start either at their cap or close to it, even Menad is level 46 already.

But surely he could just be leeching off the victories of his stronger/numerous adventuring pals?

>A hero of justice like Rance-sama
>Lying

There is that screenshot with EXP for individual characters, so there seems to be a way to get individual characters stronger, even if may not be by raising levels.

It's more likely than you think!

Make me funky is a horrible goalhorn. Don't use it.

I've been cheating in Rance games before this general was even formed. I don't think anyone has any problems with people cheating in single player games after having beaten the campaign normally once.

...

What's the context of this scene?

slumber party.
Pigu just wears her usual clothes.
Sen is a cultured woman so is dressed up properly.
Tilde deliberately picked out her clothes to be better dressed than everyone else but was shown up.

And Kanami is shocked because she came in her pjs.

Do they get surprised attacked during that and Kanami needs to ninja it up in pajamas?

Why would anyone have a problem with someone who cheated in a single player game on their first time playing? Not only it is a single player game, but it don't really have an attached system of trophies or the like that one would get to show off.

I guess it would make no sense to cheat if you're playing the game just to challenge yourself with the gameplay, but these are games with a lot of text and part of a big series. If one doesn't like a system of one of the games but want to experience the story/characters/lore/ero, then using walkthrought or even cheating would make sense.

The latest screenshot with Yoshikage in it has an EXP bar on top of his HP/ATK stats and what seems to be the star upgrade system from IX as well.

Given the lack of actual stats like Agility or Evasion it seems like it won't be using the same levelling system as Quest did. But that EXP bar guarantees that levelling will be factored into gameplay somehow.

I played Rance VI using a cheat table to prevent stamina from going down.

Why is Haruka so addictive? I honestly don't think highly of the game, but I desperately want to play it.

Pic barely related, I've just been looking for an excuse to post it.

Basically, honour. There's also the sense that you didn't give the game a chance if you cheated on your first playthrough.

I think people feel miffed because to them it's as if they've barely played the game at all and for something they've enjoyed so much it's basically saying "I don't feel like playing it at all", I think it might also be a disappointment over the fact they've chosen to miss out on what they've enjoyed too, in a way expressing wonder on how cheaters could give up the experience of playing it and having fun with the challenge like they did in the past and wanting them not to regret missing out.

I think anyways.

It sounds like Senhime isn't sure what a slumber party is. I guess I can't blame her considering she's a refined JAPANese woman who only has time for war and child bearing.

No its classic shitting on someone for being a pleb just because you can.
Like that dumb fuck who got stuck in like chapter 1 or 2 of Rance iV.

Sounds like you didn't rotate your party around much, if that's the case.

I think there are several levels to cheating.

"Game is literally unplayable without cheats" tier
"Cut out the busy work with cheats" tier
"You can cheat, but honestly, it's pretty fine" tier
"Unnecessary cheating" tier
"LaughingKuge.jpg" tier

Yes

In Rance VI, after beating the game legitimately once, I played it again, only with Rance having max stats from the start and only using him after every other available character had run out of SP. It changed the dynamics of the game, but I'm unsure where on this list my cheating would fall.

>Upstaging each other in a slumber party
Is that a thing?
Also, I wonder if Kanami's Pajamas, post Rance IX, have a R badge on the shoulder.

I hope they remake Kisara's theme in Rance 04. It was a pretty nice song.

Your reasons are more about why one wouldn't want to cheat, and not why one would be angry at someone else cheating.

I think most of the Rance games are games are on the "Cut out the busy work with cheats" tier if you don't like the system and want to see the story.

In VI for someone who don't like the game system stamina, orb grinding and even random encounters can be a pain. Similarly in Quest, leveling up lots of characters, skills limited uses and random encounters can also be a pretty big pain.

SR then is even worse for those who dislike the system, as just getting all the CGs would need a lot of effort and several playthroughs even with cheats and a walkthrough.

I don't think anyone play SR for the porn. Hell, I'm sure a lot of people don't even play the Rance series for the porn anymore.

I once used cheat engine to make it so that in S!T!B!, the characters would roll several on a six sided die. I thought it was fairly funny how the landscape stops changing after the end of the map and you have a seemingly infinite flat plain. That probably falls under unnecessary cheating, but sometimes you want to see what's beyond the goalpost.

I meant to say several hundred on a six sided die.

I didn't think there'd be some slice of life stuff in Rance IX considering the short time frame of the game.

Looking at that screenshot again, it does make me feel like the exp bar results in the character getting a star (getting an extra copy through chests also seems to do the same) instead of level, because level there is listed together with the description related info.

The only actual stats in the game seems to be HP and Attack, the rest is skills which seems to be very varied in what they can do.

There is a lot of character stuff in IX.

The first-time cheater lacks honour, hence they face anger.

I did that for Haruka, but I doubt anyone cares about cheating in Haruka.

To me sounds like the ones complaining just have nothing better to do.

>cheating

In order to establish how threatening the demon army is and how dark the atmosphere of the game is they will kill off a long standing character like Maris first. This will free up her blood soul to be eaten by the new girl.

What are you talking about? Maris isn't a Dark Lord. She's obviously an Apostle.

She is disguised as an apostle, but she is a god.

Ludo is MALICE's Lia

Fuck me, the first Dragon Synergy with Subaru is a fucking short scene.

On the discussion about whether each big country will have multiple scenes as you lose part of their territory or just one for losing it all:

The example we have is the one with Kathtom and Copa, which seems like the whole free cities have fallen. But if you check the map from the video, there is 5 places which the name slight bigger and in pink, which are Lang Bau, Leazas, Ragnarokarc, Owari and Kaiz.

This makes me think that the "capital" / last place that can be conquered by the demon army on the free cities region is Kaiz, and that CG we got is just representing you losing the northwest part of the free cities. So there may be indeed multiple of those per theater.

toufu guy, some ideas:

-If you have La Saizel and La Hawzel, option to merge them both into La Vaswald.

-For the Angel Battles, make it so that once you conquer everything every turn a battle spawns against a six-army angel stack, and enable a battle event ala Russo-Japanese War that lets you fight one of the four ruin guardians, and you win once you beat them all.

Angel Roster ideas:
-Angel Warrior: Warrior/Monster, 9 attack, 7 everything else, 3500 Troops, Skills: Charge, Guard Break, Full Power Warrior Attack 2, Fuurinkazan (Starts with all 4 buffs)
-Angel Soldier: Footsoldier/Monster, 8 in every stat, 4200 Troops, Skills: All Guard, Foot Soldier Attack 2, Spear Attack 2, Enhanced Initial Guard
-Angel Sniper: Archer/Monster, 9 Attack, 9 Speed, 6 Defense and Int, 3200 Troops, Skills: Charge, Sweeping Fire, Accurate Shots
-Angel Devastator: Mage/Monster, 9 Int, 7 everything else, 3000 Troops, Skills: Lightning, Large Lightning, Absolute Spell Guard
-Angel Paladin: Miko/Monster, 9 Int, 9 Speed, 6 Atk/Def, 3000 Troops, Skills: Healing 3, Miko Storm 2, Speed Luck, Intelligence Luck
-Angel Seeress: Diviner/Monster, 9 Int, 9 Def, 6 Atk/Spd, 3000 Troops, Skills: All Guard Shikigami, Souun's Summoning, Shikigami 2, Absolute Spell Guard
-Angel Captain: Monster, Fights Alone, 2000 HP, 9 in every stat, Skills: Fiend Slash, Attack-All Spell, Battle Strategy (3), Absolute Spell Guard, Auto Heal 3 (Recovers 200 HP every turn)

The AL Church's capital falling would likely represent an entirely different outcome than the Free Cities falling.

Wait a minute, how does Narika know this? I don't even think that I knew it.

It would be cool to have characters receiving buffs when deployed together, like Ranmaru and Shibata do after their character clear.
There's a lot of characters like Uspira/Saias, Lia/Maris, Shizuka/Maria, etc. that could use that.

The samurai and the impaled dude appear from minute 1.

But how does she know that they're the only remaining ones? Sure, it's plausible that Orochimaru told them, but I can't remember seeing that happen.

I wonder how many new cousins of Reset were born since she was born.

Yeah that makes sense.

Full sisters when?

How would you feel if Rance X had an impregnation mechanic

Bernard, Twintail Hornet, Captain Vanilla

I'd have to learn Japanese even faster, I think.

Losing any of the full countries probably would lock you out of the creator route.

I can tell you full brother not unless Pastel becomes an angel or a devil.

Was any male besides Rance even there to fuck around in Pencilcrow?

Why would the monsters attack Kalar the same as they would Humans? Seems weird that they wouldn't have been wiped out of existence if that was the case.

I remember a while ago Maria posted some of Rance Quest's beginning and they had like a litre of sperm ready to impregnate Pastel, so they definitely still have slaves. Also, apparently if you try a frontal attack on Aegis and she beats Rance, apparently they take Rance in the village and sever his ligaments in his arms and legs so he can't fight against them and is used as a sperm tank for the rest of his life.

Why do people think a creator route will even be a thing? It's entirely possible there will just be shit you can't save

Creator Route will probably be a NG+ thing, just like Archfiend Rance might be

And they need to feature a DK Rance route or I will diiiiiie

prepare to die

Is Gaston going to riot at MangaGamer's office or at Alicesoft's office when there's no Shizuka nakadashi in Sengoku Rance?

But that was before Rance saved the village and became every Kalars personal hero besides Pastel. They also used a curse that kills every male with a range of the entire forest, so all of those slaves should be dead.

Quest and 9 plus Am being confirmed strongly implies the gods will have to be dealt with.

With multiple ends, there is probably some conditions to get in the confrontation with the gods, and considering they dislike peace, so it makes sense that it would be unlocked by beating the game with less suffering for the world as possible.

Its necessary.

Good point. I kind of feel bad for the men that were there for years. Try to get one little crystal to feed their family and get used as livestock until they all get killed sporadically.

I wonder what this is. I always thought it was weird that there's a strip of what seems to be No Man's Land between the Kalar Forest, but I don't remember there being a town there, too.

Green Village

Because they want to conquer the whole world? Kayblys fights even monsters and demons who do not want to be under his rule. Kessel may be able to keep them from actually hurting the Kalar, but the monster would probably at least want to keep it under their rule and take control over the forest, which is probably how they were able to attack Helman from the desert direction.

And then the Kalar themselves may not like the situation and decide to fight against the monsters at a later point.

That's quite a precarious position. Unless they're all level 50+ sick ladies, I'm not sure how they haven't been heavily destroyed in the past.

Stop name dropping.

By whom? That village was under protection of a demon.

Kite was protecting them from monsters wasn't he

How do you get those magnum gauge bonus items in Quest?

Oh, he probably should have had them relocate or something. Being sick is one thing, being right next to the monster territory without any barrier other than something that sleeps, eats and has other business to do seems worse than the protection that the insect users had during the time of Ghandi's predecessor.
