With the inherent idea of going "fast" there is nothing wrong because nobody wants to be slow but where do we draw the line ? How fast is too fast ? Whats the point at which an ARPG is no longer an ARPG and becomes a casino simulator in which you run through maps not picking up anything and simply hoping for currency to drop.
Is this really what the game should be ?
Should there be no incentive to do challenging encounters, should there be no balance with some skills being stupidly overpowered trivializing content and other skills being blatantly awful and underused ?

It's redditors that want the clearspeed meta to go away and everything to be nerfed rather than buffed.

People will ALWAYS find the bullshit builds of the patch. Making broad, sweeping nerfs (like CI gutting, or the boss life buff) reduces build diversity rather than improving it because it raises the bar thus putting less builds in the "viable" category.

But there is. Hall of grandmasters is still insanely profitable especially early league when everyone is looking to buy clears. Same thing with shaper and friends early league before the huge supply of shaper uniques pushes prices down.
The challenge isn't "can you do shaper", it's "can you do shaper on day 3".

Everything reddi is currently whining about. I still don't get why this game needs any balance if it's basically a single player game.
The only real disadvantage you'll ever have is not killing stuff faster and making currency faster than someone else, but i guess that is enough reason for everyone to cry.
Surely getting fun/safe builds nerfed and ruining them so others aren't better than you is making the game better.

They've been stomping t14s but now today they literally don't work and are falling over while doing incredibly low dps to enemies and I have changed absloutely nothing in my setup

I just took t12 spectres to a t6 to check and they died almost right away

Nay, all that would do is every map you would beeline to the boss, kill it, then clear the map. Those mechanics are easy to get around, like the Bog and Arid Lake boss (get to culling range, then break the eggs)

Well maybe make it so that if you kill a boss with more than 50 monsters left alive the rest of the monsters dont drop items
