ds2: a bit more than 2 hunnit, mostly trying to find ways to make the game fun. would probably play it more if legit and it likely has the best online experience out of the 3, but I really don't enjoy the feel of it

I still love this game. The PvE design is what I hold as the standard to this day.

Started a SL1 run in DS3, am dicking around in Undead Settlement before I fight Treeballs (I hate that fight). Are there any things that are especially useful to a SL1 run that can be missed? For instance, I'm making sure to follow Greirat's quest just so I can have his expanded stock available to me instead of getting it cut short.

And around 150-200 in BB because all I do there is solo pve.

doing Sirris' quest to get DSA will help a lot, it's a very good weapon. buying Hidden Body can help with Wyvern and going through some areas. you can farm Flamberge and Storyteller's early, they will help with some DLC fights. if you pick up Milkring and get Rouge, you can kill Dancer and Oceiros right away, don't even need to upgrade. Fire Dagger lets you kill things that can be riposted very quickly, it's good for cancelling Frostbite too if you ever need it. you can get Deep Dagger later too for Friede and Yhorm
if you kill Pontiff before Yhorm, you can get Profaned Greatsword for Yhorm to do the stunlock exploit, it's pretty fun. i think you can only do it with Sword Ring and +1, so don't upgrade further. you can do it with other weapons but i don't know what upgrade levels you need

you won't be able to use most good weapons until the end of the game unfortunately. if you don't want to go in higher cycles, you can use Broadsword and Dagger for the entire game really
