You're downloading unverified code from some user on Veeky Forums. Why would the website hosting it matter?

It was just a .cia file, there's no virus to download unless user is a master hacker and has come up with a way to remotely detonate people's 3DS.

Before getting the cia you must "trim" the DS flashcart. user didn't change the name and so both extentions were saved.

One heals the other deals damage. That is a difference for any party.
But neither has more Sanzu activations.

I'm seeing people having really heavy discussions about party setup in eov. Can I play this game using only some basic rpg common sense or do I need to go full autist before even starting it

Basic RPG common sense will work fine. The only time full autist is necessary is if you want to skip out on a tank or a healer, or for optimization of something.

It's way funnier to just go in without knowing what works and what doesn't.
"Common jrpg knowledge" might not work here. For example, status ailments are extremely useful in this game, while in most other jrpgs you don't bother using them in normal encounters and bosses are resistant to them.

EOV is nice about party building just like EOIV was.
The Untolds can be a bit more unforgiving and the DS games are really questionable in terms of balance.

Things that may go against common JRPG knowledge:
tanks are actually useful instead of just being bad damage characters
status ailments are also useful

As long as the ingame skill description is correct, then yes. Chains are fire/ice/volt attacks, which amplifier increases.

Nah, as long as you have some common sense and don't go for 20 swords or something any party you pick will be fine. Some people just have an optimization boner and treat their party like a company with performance reviews.
