If you play a witch, you can cast the thirst curse on a vampire and it will kill them. normal sims it will just make them hungry.
that's what i was working up to when playing my witch. I used to play one years ago who used go around killing vampires, then moved to bridgeport and killed all the ones there.

If you're gonna go for a legacy I'd say start as a vampire, or normal sim and get turned if you're doing standard life length
there just isnt enough time for your first sim to do shit so vampire/genie is good to pick up for the 5x lifespan. Either that or grab the 1.5x (or is it 2x?) from Athletics and the longevity genie wish
then again at 63 days old my current sim has every lifetime reward worth grabbing as well as all the good objects from abusing a combination of the brain enhancer, alchemy and science (and now social networking too!)
