He's kind of wrong, DPS is actually a meaningful term in gbf since you optimize for autoattack racing and multiboxing. The thing is damage per turn and damage per second in gbf are completely separate things, and people who optimize for damage in a set amount of time are prioritizing DATA and autoattacks over skills.

you do realise that SL15 is an insignificant increase over SL10 when we're talking about a Big Attack modifier and that the base attack from being a sword means the qilin still grants more damage than the shitty staff does. not to mention it doesn't have the light damage reduction.

core dark grid after xeno diablo will still be xeno weapon + qilin sword until you're able to get a second xeno. ccs staff is just staff stone/skill fodder. hell, even the sharom bow is better with its debuff skill.
