The game would actually be better if they just completely removed mythic raids from the game and left current heroic as highest difficulty.

How do tomb fights compare to previous raids this expansion? Trying to decide if I want to bother finding a guild and learning/progressing/clearing up to heroic ToS before the next tier releases.

I can't put my finger on why exactly, but ToS is one of my least favorite raids ever. I came back and joined some normies and cleared through heroic and got AotC and I just have very little desire to replay it

Our new set bonus + rotation are a joke, 50 sec periods of restricted movement hard casting. Drop a few stacks at the end and lose corresponding lingering insanity stacks, take longer to get back into vf and do so with less haste = massive dps loss cumulatively.
I much preferred the nighthold bonus, because it gave us a few seconds to plan movement ahead of time. Also the fights seem designed to have dance phases at the most awkward moments possible, especially maiden. And the set bonus having a reduced effect if you use surrender, what the fuck! At least let it work on farm.

Archimonde in WoD wasn't that hard, it's the only raid I got cutting edge in and I've been raiding since Cata.

"Cutting edge: Archimonde" is a nonachievement. The window of time was much longer than any other tier and everyone over geared it.
It was a hard fight in appropriate gear, even with the weak aura.

I agree it was hard, but only because cancerous "soak" mechanic started to make metastases.
Now it has spread all over everything that's why current bosses are even harder. But it's not a real difficulty, it's an incompetence of the developers.

did they remove that option to freeze your current xp/level? I remember it was used for pvp twinks, but I might be able to use it to keep doing quests on all areas/dungeons without overleveling, shit happens way too fast

WoD had 5-6~ million.
If you're gonna talk about Warcraft 3, Arthas was the main character of frozen throne. Not to mention that Archimonde was already defeated in TBC, this was just a really awful rehash. There's no comparison.

Yes. I leveled my warlock up by grinding mobs 7-10 levels higher than me while I queued for dungeons. You can freeze your exp, but you're going to one shot the mobs no matter what level you are, so might as well just do quests at a higher level with a flying mount

It's literally the same archimonde only he didn't die at Hyjal because demons can only be killed in the twisting nether. So basically one of the biggest lore assgrabs to justify a rehashed boss.

If there is an Archimonde for every timeline, why doesn't Sargeras just gather an army of them? If there is a Sargeras for every timeline, why does defeating him in one timeline matter if any old corrupted bronze dragon can just open a portal to any timeline and unleash his power over and over again? Why don't all of the Burning Legions jump into the same timeline and destroy the void with infinite fallen titans?

See, this isn't your fault. It goes either way. This is why WoD is one of the worst expansions of all time. Not only was the gameplay atrocious, but opening the can of worms that is time travel and universe jumping is a great way to destroy your own franchise with retarded plotholes.

That's the next expansion. It's Legion except every low level grunt demon is replaced by a major figure like Mannoroth. The final boss is just a council of a bunch of Sargeras'.
