yeah actually, most of the areas you actually fight monsters in are more open than in 4U, and if you do get stuck in a shitty area, you can just lead the monster somewhere more open with challenger mantle/pelting it with a few redpits to the face, instead of being stuck fighting where the monster wants to be.

I really hope transmog returns. Probably not in world but I hope it does in the games that follow it. Not only is it a great feature, it prolongs the game immensely and lets you hunt monsters you'd normally ignore.

There's nothing anime about a fire beam. That's common outside of Japanese media too.

Both Rajang and Kirin are well-done anime that help make the MH setting feel more adventurous without interfering with the realism.
