Its not an issue of typing in the character's name, it was an issue of figuring out what strange nickname Japan is calling the new character. There is no tagging system, Japan calls characters any random amount of things that you have to search for when they upload art on twitter. In order to figure out what they're calling someone you need to follow a lot of Japanese artists, see what the retweets and uploads mention.
