I was playing Sonic Mania, and I have a question.

I can't manage to get the good ending boss, even after getting all 7 Chaos Emeralds as both Knuckles and Tails. Do I have to get all 7 BEFORE I finish the game to get the true ending, or am I just doing something wrong? Do I need to replay Titanic Monarch for the 2,000th time?

If you finish Titanic Monarch without getting the Chaos Emeralds, you can go back and select levels on the data screen and retry special stages. After you get all Chaos Emeralds, you can then go back to Titanic Monarch and complete it again, which will give you the true ending. It's like S3&K.

Shadow would probably be the best if we want games that play similarly to the ones we already have. I don't think Sega will be stupid enough to put guns and stuff back in. Shadow is popular with kids so the games will still manage to sell well.

Blaze would also be a good choice since she plays like Sonic. Not a lot of kids know who she is so there's a huge chance any new games will sell poorly.
