Does it get any better? I just started, and it feels so barebones. I can just auto-attack my way through every encounter, and meat seems so much more effective at leveling, so it hardly feels like there's any point to the exploring at all. I've already gotten an ultimate and a bunch of champions... Will there ever come a point where you actually need to strategize rather than just steamrolling the opponents?

Kinda, I like em both but I´ve heard that Crusadermon, Craniamon and Gankoomon are some of the best around at the moment and Mugen can turn into Mille at some point. Originally I was gunning for my fave Duke, but he is kinda out of question now, since toyAgu cant evolve into him, so I wanted to go for practicality.

At the moment the game IS pretty barebones because we just had the global release and they want everyone to be on the same level before opening up the Colosseum But there should be tower events and more advents coming
when you dont auto the fight when you have a maxed cleric digimon that has to heal every round when its still not enough and no matter what you do you cant beat round 3/3 no matter what without spending digistones

Well this is a failure of a general. Not being able to inherit leader skills and having a low set chance for medal inheritance is super shitty by the way. Armor being nothing more than a low level dead end (aside from Magnamon) is dumb too.
