Look at the hairstyles of female au ra.
Some of their racial hairstyles select black colored horns. But if we look at their actual horns and scales they are a Dark blue unlike the male Xaela who boast black scales and horns with the same black horns protruding from some of their racial hairstyles.
Was the switch to blue scales on females a last minute afterthought? Because it was too intimidating? Why do the females have different eyes from the males. In fact one could argue that on looks alone female Xaela would be of a separate clan from the males based on looks alone.
