Every mission starts off stealthable, its your job to keep it that way. but why would you even want to play RAID?

Are you joking? Raid is not nearly as fast paced, the AI is actually worse, the maps aren't nearly as nice to look at, the characters are boring and uninspired, and having to spam keys to pick up ammo is a horrible choice for the devs to have made.
We weren't expecting it to be different, but it actually is and that's why it's bad.

Anybody else expect Mayhem and One Down changes for this Crimefest?

The limitations of the Diesel engine are glaringly obvious in Raid.
What was mostly accepted for years as just quirks of PD2, appear again in Raid and is extremely off-putting.
The gameplay itself is very similar to Payday but worse is almost every measurable way; having worse AI, voiceline spam, and having to spam F to pick up ammo/health.
The target audience being the Payday community was a terrible mistake, as these issues are further magnified, not at all helped by the obvious asset reuse >tfw when you can't be arsed to draw new fucking flame sprites, and just copy and paste an entire map because you dont give a shit.
All in all it plays and looks like a cheap indie clone rather than a game with millions of dollars behind it.
Also, it has graphics that belong on the fucking Playstation 2.

RAID had it's first sub 200 peak player day!
It's also dropped to the point where it's only ever 20-70 more players than Payday1 has. I give it a week (assuming they don't do a freekend or a sale) before RAID either stabalizes to a small dedicated fanbase of slightly more than PD1 or it bottoms out completely.
