I have leveled to 60 FIVE FUCKING TIMES, I am not doing it again.

I lost the screenshot but I distinctly recall there being an issue with chink spam in Battlegrounds and people putting their foot down demanding that the staff apply the "English Only" in the chats, and Pottu replied that serious PvP players don't rely on the Battleground chat scroll. Then told people complaining to fuck off.

Neither are all the noobs with lv60s of every single class, even ones theyve never played past lv5 on :DD

For me, it boils down to this. Pottu is an abrasive high-handed asshole of a GM from how he handled himself both in game and on the forum boards. If he decided he didn't like you, you were on an eternal shit list and/or banned from the server outright.
Whitekidney on the other hand is a sleezy as fuck exploiter and gold seller both in retail and especially the private server scene. For a brand new private server project claiming they want to host a fair and legit server set, they picked up absolutely the wrong guy to be on the lead staff.

All of that said, fuck. I don't know. I want to play Vanilla as there's fuck-all for BC projects that are any good or even running, and Ares scripting has me really doubtful, along with the custom fixes they have in. instant 60's? Must be nice for every player to have tradeskill mules out of the gate. Fuck that shit.

I was having the most fun I've had in years. These last few months were an absolute blast.

I fully understand now why everyone hypes up vanilla wow because it's a total real mmo experience where you actually encounter people, slowly level with a few hundred others who you talk to the whole way!

I met a guy from Australia at level 17 during deadmines and pretty much ran into him every few levels till the 50's. By 50 I knew his name, what he did for work and could chit chat like I've met him in real life.

This was the same with about 10 other people!..
Hell! I even had a few hord bastards who would try and kill me on sight. We had a fun kind of rivalry going on trying to fuck each others day up whenever we could, but always in good fun with emotes and shit.
