EC is probably hardest of four lower end legendary dungeons, if you don't have enough hp\defence you can die on last boss if mechanics are failed which is happening pretty often because pugs are retards or your party simply doesn't have necessary classes.
Unfortunately your AP is on lower scale for these sort of dungeons, AP inflation bumped all f8 demands and it's now 800-850+
You still can join our lobbies here no matter your region, we don't care about your ap
Apart from alpha call gunner has no party support so it's pointless to write guides specifically for this class. Just use your reset wisely it has 5 min gcd and most dungeons from first encounter till last last less.

Adding to this I lfp'd ec on my fresh gunner and I was tanking it and we cleared it with 30s left on the enrage timer.
So if you lfp it now it should be close but doable but after we lose the buff I do not think its happening if you can not carry.
