How's flamberge in Dark Souls? Thinking of doing a light armor flippymancer this time around but I can't decide on a weapon. I was thinking of Man Serpent greatsword but since I'm going pyro it'd be nice to put that dex to use for more than just cast speed

That one I get--they're waiting to play co-op with a specific person so they bail if you summon them first.

they can also just CE the BC effect to kick everyone out of the room as well

For DS2, if I'm running around with sunlight blade most of the time is it worth using lightning infusion or just keep the weapon normal? Regular weapon, no base non-physical damage.

Had this all too often. I also stopped attending FCs at some point because I was either lagging or people couldn't see me at all. Which is weird because my connection is fine in other games.

You can fight them early if you want to, they take far less damage and can't be backstabbed but it is possible since 90% of their attacks will miss you for no real reason and they also do reduced damage

Weapons with high elemental infusion damage work fairly well but durability will be an issue if you try to fight them all like that

Their stomp attacks get grab attack hyperarmor for some reason, probably do discourage you from trying to him them during it. That and the actual grab, other than that they have pretty average resistances
