I've played WHM since 3.3, it honestly feels the same but with Thin Air existing. I think it's because I try to exploit Plenary, making me lose MP.

Use thin air when you are using high MP cost spells (anything that involves aoe, cure 2). It's pointless if you're just using cure 1 or stone/dots. Also, don't use it at full MP because you'll still get ticks, small as they are.

Use lucid around 75% MP if you're spending a lot of it, a little bit lower if you're not. You want your first lucid usage to be as early as possible in long fights so you have it available again asap.
