I would rather get all the stuff for Caster Liz and ascension mats for my Servants instead of limit breaking CEs from the shop. I can just do that in the rerun next year.
I would say ascending Servants is more useful. You never need CEs to beat the early stages of the game at all, by the time things get challenging better CEs will be out.
