As somebody who's been playing since launch, and as somebody who went to play on a private server for a short bit in vanilla, vanilla raids are a joke. There are more mechanics in heroic KJ than there are in the entire BWL instance. Now, I love vanilla and tbc and wish blizzard would make legacy servers, but yeah, mechanics and rotation(people only used one spell in raids for dps, 3 if rogues).

He probably didn't bother looking up the mechanic beforehand, so he didn't know what to expect. I myself don't bother learning mechanics for fights if I come back from a break and I'm outgearing the place from stuff from argus to where most mechanics can be ignored.

So I'm trying to get the Mac'Aree Lightbringer set, which is aids to get, so it's rare and I have not seen anyone else with it.

I am wearing it's pants, shoulders, and belt. I am substituting the boots/chest/hands. I feel like the boots and hands work fine, but I feel like the chestpiece is a little off. What's Veeky Forums's opinion? Hows the sword or should I use the sword of serenity? What of the shield?

If they give me ogre shamans and stuff the rng back up their asses I'll come back to it but its current state sucks.

Set is fine, the chest is an ok placeholder but I can see your issue with its faded gold trimming. I think it only works because of the gem in the center.

Sword looks alright for the set but the shield is way too Azeroth/Human looking. I would recommend finding something with crystals in them (like some of the WoD pvp shields).

Depends on region, you need to get 6-8 toons to 110 and spend a few hours farming every day, but doable.
