why does people struggle with that boss so much?
i've only ran this place twice (no point in grinding it) using duty finder for both runs. We wiped twice on the first run and 0 on the second. It really isn't that hard.

The really long, kinda messy haircut that I'm using in this picture is surprisingly good about clipping, probably because it either rolls over collars or completely covers them instead of just jabbing through like in your screenshot. Otherwise, there's a reason why the mid-ponytail is so popular.
Once I saw the mechanics it wasn't hard but good lord people kept standing under pillars it was pain.
The attack that always tripped me up was the fire fist. I never knew when he was going to use it and I couldn't watch his fist over all of the explosions and stuff.
