D2 has been having stability issues leading to damage in xbones since launch. If it continues into other games then you know its no just memory issues and it is actual product damage. You can check with your microsoft overlords if your warranty is a thing still or if they quietly took that away to. If you still have the warranty then you can send in the entire product and wait the 6 months for it to be processed. You will lose all data on the hhd mind you so back that up beforehand.
