Why didnt Napoleon re-invade the ottoman empire...

Why didnt Napoleon re-invade the ottoman empire? If the british navy was a problem couldnt he literally shut off the entire mediterranean sea to them?

In case you havent noticed he was busy with his neighbours trying to invade him every two years

why didn't napoopan just feed his troops in Russia instead of letting them die????

>Napoopan
>Shut off the Mediterranean.

He had no interest in fighting the Turks and he was too dumb about naval warfare to figure out how to build a wall in the strait of Gibraltar.

Those are actually 2 of the 3 main reasons for his eventual ultimate defeat.

>block off gibraltor
>you now control the entire sea

>Have no navy.
>Do not even control Gibraltar.
>Block da see.

>"Have no navy"
Ah, so then at Trafalgar Nelson fought his last victory against imaginary ships, yes?

Why did napoleon invade russia, the most useless land

Alexander jewed him by agreeing to the Continental Blockade and then double crossing him

>what is suez

>Suez
>early 19th century
qué

russia wanted to invade poland, frances greatest (only beside bavaria and part of italy) ally

>victory
Theres your answer, moron

Ottoman empire wasnt idependent since 18 century. French and British parties struggled hard in 1789-1812, French was dominant in 1806-1812, so there wasnt reasons to invade own puppet.

>Ottoman Empire.
>French Puppet.
You mean the guys who declared Jihad on Napoleon?

That said: the Ottomans were a temporary French Ally during the late 18th century largely because nobody wanted to ally with Revolutionary France's ass. Except Napoopan just had the super genius idea of sailing to Egypt to link up with supposed allies in India while the French navy was in no position to be going around the world.

Turkey wasnt stopping hopeless war against Russia for 6 years, it was great bonus for France. Shouts of jihadists (probably inspired by British party) wasnt so important.
Ottoman empire of 19 century wasnt empty needless borderland, it was divided. France, Britain, less active Russia, Austria - all these countries had intellegence and agents of influence there.

>Block Gibraltar
>This faggot called Nelson wrecks your ships
>No navy left
Was a brilliant idea wasnt it?

>Shouts of jihadists (probably inspired by British party)
Probably inspired by a bunch of French cunts in fucking Egypt/Levant.

Besides this isnt the 19th Century. Only France was the Ottoman Empire's closest European buddy before they went Revolutionario.

I agree, French domination in Ottoman empire started to decrease in 1789. But not because of republic or invasion to Egypt, but because French agents couldnt resume their normal job without normal leadership of France, including revolutionary retards in headquarters of Paris.
Egypt or republic were just slogans, covering anti-french activity of other agents.

he didn't really want to, he just wanted to have one real battle with the russians, get them to sign a peace, and fuck off home before the winter

How would a corpse wreck your ships?

Why didnt napoleon just mass build ships until the british ran out of their ships?

Because british could mass build more ships in their colonies

Not really, the British Empire was small as fuck back then

Because Britain made sure France never had time to focus on building a navy by founding other continental powers to attack it every two years

>couldnt he literally shut off the entire mediterranean sea to them?

Lmao he couldn't even shut off Europe to them. The continental system wasn't nearly as successful as Napoleon had hoped it would be.

>Nelson died before the Battle of Trafalgar was over.
>A corpse literally wrecked the French Navy

My nan could have wrecked the french navy tbf.

the problem wasn't lack of ships, the problem was a lack of trained personnel to man those ships

>Turks can be killed, but they can never be conquered.
He was a faggot

Why did the most stylish uniforms in history have to be among the ones offering the least protection?

Then use untrained personnel to man those ships then
