i have no idea why but the flames show on every dxlevel i tested, they didn't when i started the game up the first time after the update yesterday

i also did performance benchmarks if you're interested

do you have graphics drivers installed

it could be using some fallback mode where it just draws a transparent overlay on the screen instead of using a monitor color profile (or however it normally works)

no its actually worse than ever. i hated spy/sniper stacks but it was never this fucking bad. at least a spy or sniper could deal with a sentry. every server your team will be 9 pyros constantly just flinging themselves into sentries, never switching because they are all trying for some contract, i cannot be the only one absolutely furious at how incompetent the teams can be. it is always a roll, literally every game. not fun to win, especially not fun to lose, no incentive to have medics because so many pyros and how the new heal debuff works (you heal way less while hit with afterburn). its literally just engineers, sentries, and a spy that thinks he is hot shit, every fucking game. it is plain infuriating, i say wait at least another fucking week if you are really curious, you have until february of next year to complete the contracts and they take less than a day to do so whatever take your fucking time

nah fuck no. pyro can make a decent pocket but not in a server with no powerclasses. it is more effective for me to go demoman than it is to go medic because there is no guarantee that uber wont just be a complete fucking waste with the pyro stunlocked to a wall either by sentry fire or because 50 pyros are denying the uber with airblast its a fucking mess

Also you can pull it up and swap wich one is activated in the setup phase, so you can make sure you have an offense contract for offense and then switch to defense when you go to round two.

Oh, sure, not being able to do anything after the Scout stuns you with the Sandman got fixed, but waiting 25 seconds to respawn and then walking out of your spawn to eat a crocket and then having to wait another 25 fucking seconds to continue playing isn't a big deal.
