Welcome to any game requiring at least a base iq of 110(meme or not). I mean any game that requires thinking about your moves or how to help a team in a close quarters brawl. Along with learning timings of moves or just parrying things. Just like any fighter user, but the negative side is that we have shitty connections and disconnects.

I've been playing Dominion and the event like normal and i feel like i have most of the effects and skins.

This goes for 2 weeks so this isn't that bad.

I meant the classic hybrids, polearm users, LB/Nob/Valk, the new hybrids didn't register to me, although I guess Highlander could use more range since he's so shit in other areas

Lights shouldn't bounce at all because they're less committed attacks.
Parries should be parryable with correct timing.

Shove on block is the only real strength of LB, it's super unfun to play against, you can't even counter a shove > light with a dodge > gb because he can chain into a heavy afterwards

I think removing shove > light on block, but keeping shove > gb and shove > heavy, then allowing him to shove on blocked heavies would be great

Just make it so blockshove chains into nothing, working only as a reset. Dodgeshove can remain as-is.

dodge shove is nearly useless since it's so slow, shove on block > heavy is a great way to keep people off you in ganks, I just want to fix LB's 1v1 turtleness, let him stay a good defender

I don't think you understand. Rewarding a block with an offensive opportunity is bad design. This includes both LB's current shove-block as well as Conq's heavy block into free GB.

Yes, it's a great way to keep people off you in ganks, but it also makes LB cancer in 1v1 on a fundamental level because he doesn't even need to parry, he can just spin his guard around like an autist until you get bored enough to enable his shove combo for him.

If you decided to want learn, then looking at movesets and testing what works is beneficial to you. If you play duel, you’ll see why this game is hated by /v/ (they shilled it as a deep 3D fighting game). They couldn’t accept that 4v was the more fun and open ended mode since duel is just whoever attacks first loses

Maybe the devs can enable the color or masks as options. Hopefully they add them on revenge

It's the same range and damage as PK's zone.

Warden's zone range is a great strength of the move, even when it's blocked, your opponent is sometimes too far away to GB you, but PK/Orochi zone range is a bit stupid for an assassin that has already high light attack damage/speed

Have you tried? Warden recoils a whole foot backwards when using his zone into minions, so he'll clip 2-3 soldiers at most.

Then Highlander swoops in with his sword dealing constant contact damage like a lightsaber, spinning thrice to kill most of the wave in one zone.

Sure, HL's zone is unusable in a 1v1 outside of GB followup, but Warden's zone is bad both against players (on PC, I know consolefriends can't even block standard-speed light attacks) and against soldiers.

Yes, I'm salty. Highlander might be trash tier but it just feels dumb to have the DLC hero be ten times better at clearing minions despite using almost the same weapon.

If Warden's zone is unsafe on block, make all 500ms moves unsafe on block for consistency.
Having one standard move be uniquely unsafe unlike those of 19 other heroes is retarded design. Imagine being a new player and trying out various different heroes, and wondering why only one hero in particular can't counter GBs sometimes. It makes the game feel broken because there's no visual feedback for Warden's zone being somehow uniquely bad in that way.

Zones don't have to come from your guard direction, which is only really an advantage on Warden since the Assassins have hidden guards

PK zone needs to be punishable if blocked due to the insane speed

Orochi zone can mostly stay as is, just make it bounce off blocks so that he loses advantage

Berserker zone is full retard, 30 dmg 500ms attacks that are totally safe are ridiculous

All the assassin zones need huge range nerfs as well, I've backdashed and Orochi zone still catches me afterwards

(On Xbox) I know the feeling. I was pretty much done with it, all I had was highlanders ornament left. Then the faggot PK quits in the last match after the first round. I parried his lights as shinobi and got the sickle rain, then I faced a bot for the next two rounds. Except in round 3, game ends and gives me the following message.

Sooo to get all the tourney ornaments one has to intentionally lose as soon he gets ranked in bronze?

In order to reach bronze. You have to flunk all of your rank match placements. You’ll be put in gold 2 or 3. From there you have to keep losing until you reach Silver or bronze. Once there, you’ll meet the lowest of the low players who can’t do shit. From there on, just rape the tourney (you’ll still be low ranked, just make sure to lose some placement matches before semi) about 16 times for 1st place. Should take you a week if your working, if not then at least 4 to 3 days

Yeah, I got an easy 4 ornaments until my placements were finished, then no tournaments ever since getting put in plat 2

You can't get the halloween plume as a drop, the drop ornament is the claw-holding-skull for everyone. The halloween plume for LB is steel only.

Warden is good since target swapping fully charged shoulderbash is great in group fights

I meant that I don't think I'll spend 15k on an outfit just for an ornament when I really want Warden's Hellfire effects, although the execution effects are pretty good

Think about it this way. Warden's Hellfire is not going anywhere, meanwhile Conq's halloween ornament is going to go up in price to 20k in the future. You can get both over time anyway, but it makes sense to get the seasonal one first.

I've pretty much stopped using Warden zones against any player with double digits of reputation on their character. It's just a "please GB me" button on PC.
I almost regret not owning a Bloodborne Machine or XBone.

Have a coked up Centurion deliberately not taking the free kill against me for unknown reasons.
It's not just you. Time snap removal made landing a CC confirm a SB. This was absolutely not the case before the time snap patch.
Other moves affected are the abovementioned Berserker zone attack which doesn't let you block the last hit if you eat the first hit anymore, and Conqueror's forward shield charge which now confirms a heavy, not just a light.

Learn to read, mongoloid. Zerker zone is a confirmed kill on 1 bar even in gearless modes like Duel. It's the only zone in its speed class that does this.

Parrying PK's zone does, I legitimately can't remember if Berserker's does too. Zone attack mechanics are in no way consistent because Ubisoft loves their spaghetti code.
