Why does stuff for 4 release at such a glacial pace? Almost feels like they half abandoned it.
If there ever is a TS5, I hope it keeps the cute cartoon style instead of the ""realistic"" pudding faces in 3. Probably my favourite thing about 4. It reminds me of 2 a lot.
In the context of art style, 4 is only similar in 2 with regards to the sims themselves. 3's general art style is more reminiscent of 2 than 4 is.
I hope they take 4's graphics, all of 3's gameplay and content including expansions, MORE content, and then more expansions. Then it would finally be worth playing.
I wish there was a first person, or third person/over the shoulder mode for you to interact with the world. It's been done before on consoles, why not include it on the PC versions?

That would be awesome but I doubt they will ever have good enough programmers to solve 3's open world performance issues. Maybe they'll surprise us but given EA seems to be as cheap as possible I doubt it.
I'd actually love a life simulator that did this, but it would be radically different from anything The Sims is doing or ever did. I'm all for it.
