Unfortunately, I don't know where to get the proper hair / headwear. I have the most updated HEXA hairpack. Where can I find the proper hairs for them?

you don't need to download the hats anywhere else, download the regular and the _m cards and the _m cards should have the hat files embedded inside of them when AAU detects them

Replacing the hair highlight globally doesn't make all your cards look the best they can, it gives you an illusion that your cards aren't outdated and bad (they are).

Because it's a sin to mod other user's cards that already have specific hair highlights built into the mod card?

I was trying to use the 2nd method given in the hair highlight readme. So I set up my AA2 play and maker directories in the batch file via notepad but I'm not sure why its asking for 2 SET directories for the scripts so I just set them to the same location.

Then I ran the batch file and the those were the results I got.

protip: use a notepad++ or something similar instead of the notepad. The syntax highlighting would give you massive clues
Because it's a merged batch for both the regular hair highlighter and low poly highlighter the 2 makedirs are there so that it's usable for both(you can only run with one of them at any given time)

Take the highlight textures from the highlighter and place them here.
Use AA2 to enable the highlight.
