P3 would need a complete overhaul, maybe add dungeons for the full moon events and rebalance the characters for manual control.
FES was properly balanced but P3P was a joke even on highest difficulty setting.

Improving the battle system is an option. If they don't I'd rather not have any Persona remake because the battle system generally sucks in those games.

P2 battle system is fine, what it needs is a better UI so people understand how it works.

Nah, it would be redundant with more dungeons. It already has tartarus and some mini dungeons during the full moon. They should only remake the graphics and leave the game as it is.

Its more likely because a p3 remake would take much less effort than a p2 remake and has more fans as well. They can also reuse the dancing game assets, which they can't do for p2.

At least we know they are considering it since a p2 remake was one of the options on the poll, p2 needs a remake more than anything because it has a great story but really bad gameplay (for innocent sin at least). Unfortunately companies tend to remake what was successful instead of games that need them.
