Switch from speed eliminates any potential for possible combos as by the time you've landed you're on the ground, making it useless as a mid fight weapon and only viable as a mobility/flanking weapon. I would have preferred if they simply made each jump take a big ass chunk out of your primary ammo instead of this switch from speed bullshit but whatever, Valve also made the fucking slap attack so I'm not expecting good weapon design out of them

Useful for clearing sentry nests faster than anything other than 8 stickies. Can destroy hallway pushes. Otherwise kind of mediocre, the hitbox for each puff is incredibly small and even good aim will miss about 50% of the time if the opponent is moving around.

>Jetpack
Pointless for anything other than annoying 2fort Snipers or jumping into the Harvest death pit. Too slow for an escape tool, too slow to avoid getting thrown off the map, doesn't jump high, doesn't move very fast, sound so distinctive and loud it's useless for setting up ambushes 99% of the time, does no damage.

>Gas Can
Would be great if it was a melee replacement or something, as the Scorch Shot or Flare Gun or Shotgun would make excellent use of coating people. But as of right now it's pointless because after you throw it you still have to suicide run into the group of people you just gassed to make use of it. Afterburn is crap.

Useful in the sense that Scout with a bat strafing you holding M1 is useful: no one really anticipates it. Can also crit so the low damage isn't too much of a hindrance; hell it's sometimes more effective than the flamethrower since you'll be moving around the enemy too fast for them to reliably hit you. Could use afterburn on hit (I don't think it has this.)

It's alright. Every sandvich slot has a niche. Chocolate bar gives you 50 more permanent health and charges super fast, sandvich heals full and will keep Medic alive more reliably. Banana sits between these two, making it inferior to both but not pointless in any circumstance.

The bonus contracts, the little air control, the broken/unexisting falling damage dealt stat, the slow switch time.

It's not that bad. The SFM short displayed it as a way better thing but maybe the real implementation is more fair. It's not a pyro sticky jump to get right in the middle of a fight and roast everyone, it's a mobility tool. Since it's visible the enemy can see that you could jump away and when you are about to do so, eliminating the butthurt that the atomizer caused.
Once the pyro craze stops it will be harder to get away with the really loud noise.
