The power of numbers dictate that I need to play FE4 next, what should I know about it before diving in? Rather than ideal minmax broken as shit pairs what are some pairs I should just avoid at all costs? I know there's hidden shit too like Arden's Pursuit ring and the like, but do they make it obvious or is that kind of stuff worth looking at a guide for?

Generally you want to capture bosses in Lunatic for their Lunatic skills and bonuses, so not really worth it unless you just want their unique model or skill lineup this badly.

I always capture a healer in preparations for chapter 12. Capturing sounds fun and can net you potentially useful units specially on Lunatic, but you have so many good units there as it is that in the end it doesn't affect much outside replayability a different strategies

Normal conquest is probably really easy, you shouldn't worry too much about it. Hard was a bit overwhelming on my first playthrough, but in hindsight it's a cakewalk when compared to some later lunatic maps
