Apparently a hidden bonus to the Switch update that dropped a few days ago is that you can now use the Gamecube controller adapter that was for Smash Snore on the Wii U.

Is there anyway to rebind buttons in Splatoon 2? The controller doesn't have a ZL button.

I'm sure you could with your skill level. But it can be ridiculously time consuming though and detail-oriented.

Adding a single white pixel on a 2x2px square can instantly completely change things when you're using really low resolutions and then anti-aliasing, if it's done, can take an hour or two alone from my experience. There's also a painstaking attention to perspective and making lines the angle that you want them to go at. For example if you're doing a curve you need to follow a rule of decreasing lengths of lines to create the illusion so what would've been one stroke is now 10+ segments. Color count is also a huge thing, it'd be similar to shading with only one shade of white and one shade of black, kind of like miiverse stuff. And then there's this thing called dithering.

Dont get me wrong it's fun but as I've found it's easy to get tunnel-visioned on details and getting stressed on making something perfect. But it does open the door for animation. I used to get comissions from indie game companies and amateur animators too, way more than I had the time for since I overkill everything.
