So Veeky Forums. what's the most annoying parts of your favorite mods?

dunno, honestly. the fact that you can't really craft inspiration crystals till after EoC is kinda annoying. nothing else really comes to mind though.

How you need to complete the Tracker quests in the correct order. Waiting years for a Nymph or a Hag to spawn is painful.

Speaking of thorium. i hate how you have to wait till an actual boss from vanilla to be able to craft most of the early game armors and stuff...and they're almost all equal or worse than vanilla stuff craftable without.

you talking about the arcane fabricator stuff? in which case yes, i have to agree. only thing i ever seem to use it for is the delicious pre-hm wings.

yeah it's only use is the wings and if you got fargos the one harpy bow. other wise it'd useless shit by the time you get it. and don't even get me started on danger shards.

The ranger set is great though, and all you need for it is jew wood. The danger drill is also surprisingly fast, and the danger shard bow will murder everything for a good time due to shooting two arrows.

Crimson vs Corruption

Which do you prefer and why?

Corruption's hardmode mobs are much less of a cock to deal with.

on the other hand, crimson's unique items are way, WAAAAAAY better.

not that i dont love crawling inside a big meatball themed dungeon and catching several blood born diseases but corruption is the original and my world already has it and worm is easier to slay than brains

so i tried to build an npc house up a tree but the trunk itsself is preventing the floor from being valid
any help tips secrets?

Do you have an empty space for the NPC to stand on? Maybe you just put furniture on every free floor spot?

no the issue is that the trunk coming through the floor dosnt count as floor its self counting instead as empty space, i could build a house on-top of a tree but this big treehole in the middle is bothersome

ah but therein layeth the issue i had used platforms to climb up gaining entry but while we players can walk past a tree with ease i cannot place the platforms in the same space as the tree

not to mention there could be more water off to the right there that we cant see

The surface is broken by those 5 dirt blocks on the right and they determine the width of the lake. It's not contiguous (which sucks, I had to edit in a lot of water for my fishing spots).
It's for the best to because you get fish faster and selling a lot of bass gets you some gold so it's alright and also less trash.

what a surprise it's fucking dead

need help:
me and my friend started playing modded terraria with the big mods being thorium calamity and tremor, after some time npcs stopped spawning even thou we had all requirements, when we re-/start the server, for a small amount of time we see the goblin army event progression in the bottom right corner at 0% but it disappears quickly. we cant spawn the goblin army throu the spawn item. we are out of ideas, reinstalled all mods and terraria, started a new world but after some time it happened again.
It seems as if the event is stuck and we cant do anything about it, even starting other events like old mans army dont fix it.
pls send help

I've only played a bit of the latest big patch but the time I spent dicking around on my end game character I didn't notice anything game breaking.

I kinda like blizzards but it makes it hard to see in them but it feels real Christmasy but y'know.

Mobile has normal trees with snow on it.
Mobile also has an easter event which I kinda miss.
I never played Terraria on PC during Christmas (that said I never played Terraria on PC in depth until now).
Also, I advise skipping the chasm and just exploring the underground Jungle because everything in my chasm is shit loot and I'm disappointed.

the other side of spawn leads to corruption which i was traversing when i happened to fall to a deep dark death

There's a bunch of pillars beneath it, yeah.
The hellforge is there because I crowded my place with too many arrels and dressers full of shackles and there's really no where to put it until I expand some more.
