I'm new to CK2, worked my way up to King of Ireland, as one does, and then some guy from Aragon claiming Mumu came and took it from me with his like 10000 levies. Is this kind of thing normal? Random wars against stronger armies against people far away from you with whom you've never interacted? I looked it up, doesn't appear to be a historical event.

2. Undergoing revolution.
3. Technically signed peace seperately to the rest of the allies.

In comparison to KuK who, in this supposed timeline:
1. Was slap bang in the middle of Germany, Bulgaria, and the Ottomans.
2. Not undergoing largescale revolution at any point in the war.
3. In this scenario wouldn't have signed peace seperately.

/gsg/ and taxes guy, I've been doing some testing with the vanilla MEIOU CE files and figured out what's breaking regional capitals.

In both travel times, there's a variable called capital_effect_factor, which doesn't seem to be set anywhere, doesn't appear in save files, and thus defaults to zero. The values for CE reduction from regional capitals are multiplied by it, so they're reduced to zero. Commenting out the lines referring to it fixes the problem and gives regional capitals that actually do something.

Here's a very late-game save for comparison. Unchanged CE at the top, changed CE at the bottom, with exactly the same spread of regional capitals. While it's improved across the board, you can also see that it drops back to perfect from superb on arrival in Taiwan, whereas before the fixes CE decreased based only on distance from the capital.
